There are many people in our communities at risk of, or currently experiencing homelessness. We have the capacity to respond rapidly by assisting people into crisis accommodation and person based case planning support to transition to a stable home environment.

Through our partner network and collaboration with outside agencies and providers, we ensure clients are supported on a pathway out of homelessness by providing services in rapid rehousing, early intervention/prevention, crisis/transitional housing responses, and intensive case management.

Our core specialist area in homelessness, is to support Aboriginal individuals and families through a partnership across the region with Jali Local Aboriginal Land Council, Northern Rivers Community Gateway, Casino Boolangle Local Aboriginal Land Council, and Gurehlgam Corp.

In addition, our core specialisation is to support Women and Aboriginal Women and children at risk of, or experiencing homelessness due to domestic violence. This is provided in partnership across Northern NSW with Women Up North and Clarence Womens Domestic & Family Violence Specialist Services. These services include crisis and transitional housing and support to keep women and children safe.

In the last 6 months these partnerships delivered quality services to over 4,500 individuals and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness.

If your tenancy is at risk, or you are currently sleeping rough, staying with friends, or living in overcrowded or unsafe homes, please call 1300 355 305 to seek support.
