Recovery from mental illness is a personal journey – and no two journeys are the same. 3SA takes a strengths based approach to support our clients journey to recovery.

Our Mental Health services support hundreds of people each year throughout many New South Wales and Queensland communities. By identifying appropriate supports, we help transition clients toward recovery and re-integration in their community.

We provide much-needed assistance for clients who are in the process of transitioning from hospital care back into the community. Working in collaboration with Community Mental Health case managers, Community Services, Housing NSW, drug and alcohol counsellors, Aboriginal Health Service, NSW Carers Association, as well as local general practitioners, psychiatrists and psychologists, we tailor our approach to suit each individual and achieve best outcomes.

We understand that mental illness impacts the people closest, and also provide essential carer support programs – including carer respite and community-based support groups, as well as support for children of parents living with a mental illness.
