Andrew Weil

Chairman & Chair of the Risk Committee, Member of the Strategy Committee

Andrew Weil is a Non-Executive Director/Chairman, a Chartered Secretary and a qualified Lawyer with over 15 years of board experience in the private and the not-for-profit sectors.

Andrew brings to 3SA skills and experiences gained from chairing one of Queensland’s largest and most successful healthcare and community service not-for-profit organisations from 2010 to 2016. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Master of Laws and has been awarded a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance. With his wealth of business experience in the areas of technology and innovation and property development and management, Andrew shares with 3SA a diversity of knowledge and skills to successfully chair into the future.
Mark Formaggin

Mark Formaggin

Mark is a Director of PRD Nationwide Real Estate and Principal of the Casino Agency. He addresses his community aspirations by being very much involved locally with those who are disadvantaged and through being a Director of various organisations.

For 4 years Mark was a Director of On Focus (now Achieve), an organisation that works with people with severe disabilities and helps them to be part of their local community.

Mark brings previous career experience in Banking, Real Estate and small business ownership to 3SA along with strong community ties and experience in disability.

Virginia Walker

Non-Executive Director & Chair of the Audit & Finance Committee, Member of People & Culture and Strategy Committee

In a three-decade career spanning sales, finance and leadership, Virginia has held executive roles in leading organisations ranging from the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and EDS (now HP) to Ernst & Young and IBM.

Building on her corporate background, Virginia has gained a coaching qualification and written a book, The Truth About Transformation. She now works as a transformation leader and is passionate about helping people deliver and learn, particularly in the area of large-scale transformation programs.

Virginia is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, a CPA member of CPA Australia, and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Terry Watson

Terry Watson has a diverse range of business skills, knowledge and experience gained over 40 years in the tourism, education, economic development and employment sectors. Terry’s background includes senior management positions in private enterprise, government and academia.

Terry is an energetic, articulate and innovative professional with a highly developed and diverse range of management skills. An entrepreneurial business developer by nature, Terry’s extensive understanding of processes and procedures for economic development is proven by his ability to manage multiple and complex projects across a range of sectors.

Terry brings to 3SA his comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all elements of strategic, marketing and business planning development and implementation for regions, destinations, industries, sectors and enterprises.

Neil Roderick

Newly appointed Third Sector Board Member, Neil has thirty-six years’ financial services experience primarily in London, New York and Australia, with a focus on new business startups and on introducing change, using a blend of commercial and technology skills.

Previous roles include COO Banking and Financial Services Group, Head of Macquarie Adviser Services Division and Macquarie Wrap.

Cathy Doyle

Cathy joined Rabobank in March 2017 as Group Executive HR and Corporate Affairs for Australia and NZ.  She is an accomplished People and Business leader with executive level and board experience across a number of blue chip companies.

Cathy has over 25 years’ experience in the Finance, Superannuation and Consumer Services sectors holding roles at the most senior levels of McDonalds Australia, BNP Paribas, CBA, Qantas, NRMA and Perpetual where she had the Executive responsibility for the Equities team, and their clients with over $16 billion in FUM.

With strong links to Australia’s corporate governance and philanthropic communities, Cathy is a founding board member and Membership Director of the International Women’s Forum Australia, former Chair of drug and alcohol charity, Odyssey House and is formerly Non-Executive Director of both Ambition Limited and Mason Stevens Group.

She holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree, graduate diploma qualifications in Psychology and Vocational Education and Training and an MBA. She is also a Graduate of both AIST and AICD and holds a Certificate in Governance.

Karen Murphy

An experienced CEO and Non-Executive Director, Karen’s tertiary qualifications are in business administration, governance and health.

Karen is highly strategic and flexible and has consistently delivered on objectives with impact in executive roles that span various sectors including health, engineering, legal, accounting and financial services across the listed, government and not-for-profit environments.

Karen has held high profile national and international roles in Listed, not-for-profit and Government environments and is comfortable managing all media matters including crisis management. Karen specialises in driving new levels of profit growth by leveraging all business drivers and harnessing brand value and believes authentic communication and a genuine interest in people are the keys to harnessing the power of a positive culture.

Scott Loffler

Director of Finance

Scott is a Chartered Accountant, inspiring business leader and talented business professional with over 25 years of comprehensive financial and operational management and corporate governance.

Scott brings to 3SA experience across a broad base of industries, domestic and international, commercial and not-for-profit environments, private and public sector organisations to deliver progressive and diverse accounting and finance accomplishments.

With over 5 years’ experience at an executive level with a not-for-profit community service and housing provider, Scott has operated diversified programs across multiple service streams, including mental health, family services, youth, disability, aged care and community housing across NSW & Qld.

Stuart McFarlane

Chief Information Officer

Stuart is a highly qualified CIO, who has worked extensively in the not for profit sector and brings to 3SA sound business management and leveraging skills.

Stuart has a Masters in Information and Technology and complements a solid technical application knowledge with a passion and proven track record in growing business through income generation.

Using a system and process based, structured planning strategy, Stuart has demonstrated the ability to deliver support and operational efficiencies over all levels of an organisation.

Shane Klintworth

With over twenty years of CEO and Senior Executive Experience in the disability and community services sectors, Shane’s vision and commitment is to excellence in human services.

Shane’s career has been dominated by leading human services organisations and influencing positive change through the application of ethical, accountable and responsible professional practice.

With his innovative thinking and experience in high level strategic planning, reform and continuous improvement processes, Shane brings commitment, passion, drive, and a client-focused approach to 3SA and its service delivery.

Mark Edwards

Commercial Director

Mark is an accomplished senior executive with broad industry experience, gained from time in the public and private sectors.

Mark brings to 3SA a collaborative management style that has consistently challenged people and businesses to adapt, evolve and lead through innovation and continuous improvement.

Mark is a qualified Town Planner and business leader, with previous experience managing multi-disciplined project teams through property acquisition and leasing, town planning, engineering and design, project management and professional consulting disciplines.

With 15 years of varied management experience, Mark has developed a flexible approach, coupled with energetic enthusiasm to strategically challenge the status quo to deliver a constructive difference.

Mark provides a level of commercial and business acumen that complements 3SA’s executive leadership team and organisational experience.

David Edwards

Director Alliances and Partnerships

In a three decade career encompassing project management, business development and social enterprise development, David brings a wealth of experience in the disability sector, social enterprise and disability employment sectors and community development which has been recognised nationally and internationally. David has been ministerial appointed to a number of federal appointments.

With a proven record in design and implementation of many service delivery models in the non-government sector, David has also extensive experience in innovative training and program design and management

David is an invaluable member of the 3SA executive team and brings commitment, professionalism and dedication utilising his effective business strategy, networking and lobbying capability to deliver real outcomes.

Paulina Guttormsen

Executive Officer

With a Master of Business Administration and 20+ years’ experience in the heavily legislated Gaming and Tertiary Education sectors, Paulina is an accomplished Senior Business Administrator who brings a wealth of experience in human resources management, quality assurance, project management and the preparation of government submissions.

Keneti Galo

Manager Clinical Governance

With a Masters Degree in Counselling and extensive experience in clinical and reflective practice, Keneti has the skills and knowledge to be an asset as Clinical Supervisor for 3SA

Keneti’s strengths are in providing feedback and evaluation of clinical practice, discussing supervisees strengths and areas of growth and mastering specific skills with an emphasis on theories used that inform practice.

In his experience in the not-for-profit sector, Keneti has developed an increased knowledge of process issues, theories and interventions to be employed by supervisees and he advocates for both supervisees and upper management.
